Artsik

A platform for artists and their audiences, built end-to-end by one person: product thinking, visual identity, the code and the growth. The proof piece for what "independent builder" means — no team to hand things to, nothing outsourced.

EV MAP

A free French app for finding and using EV charging stations. Steven drives its marketing and growth — positioning, campaigns and content aimed at both drivers and the operators the app partners with: TotalEnergies, Zephyre, Bump, Ze-Watt.

Portals

Technology art sculptures connecting cities through real-time, unfiltered 24/7 livestreams — Vilnius to Lublin, Dublin to New York. Covered by the BBC, Forbes and National Geographic. Steven helped provide the screens at the heart of them.

Fourteen years of light.

The long run at Artixium Display — from a freelance identity in Shenzhen to Marketing Director, and out again to build independently.

Steven's relationship with LED manufacturer Artixium Display began in Shenzhen, designing the company's original identity as a freelancer. He returned in 2018 to run marketing, and as Marketing Director from 2020 took the brand through its biggest moments before moving on in 2026 to build independently.

03 — BEFORE THAT

The music years.

Shanghai, 2007 onward. Twenty-eight records, a residency, a label — and a studio that still takes commissions.

Before the day jobs there was Shanghai. Steven co-founded Intransikbeats Records in 2007, hosted the monthly Bassment at The Shelter and held a residency at Sub-Culture, then ran Iron Shirt Recordings. With his brother Vince Lorenz he finished the dubstep album Frost. He no longer performs; the studio still takes commissions.
